About this Lens
The smc PENTAX-FA 43mm F1.9 Limited is a compact prime lens for Pentax K-mount cameras, part of Pentax's Limited series. Its 43mm focal length corresponds to the diagonal of a 35mm film frame and produces a field of view close to that of the human eye, with an f/1.9 maximum aperture and an 8-blade rounded diaphragm for smooth bokeh. The lens features smc multi-layer coating, a 7-element/6-group optical design, a minimum focusing distance of 0.45m, and an aperture ring. It was a best-seller for more than 20 years and is known for high-contrast, high-resolution rendering in an aluminum barrel measuring just 27mm long and weighing 155g.
