The Tamron 35-150mm F2-2.8 Di III VXD (Model A058) for Sony E is a full-frame mirrorless zoom lens covering 35mm wide-angle to 150mm telephoto, and is the first fast-aperture zoom for full-frame mirrorless cameras to offer an F2 aperture at the wide end. Its optical design of 21 elements in 15 groups, including four LD elements and three glass-molded aspherical elements with BBAR-G2 coating, delivers sharp images with soft bokeh from the F2-2.8 aperture. The VXD linear motor autofocus provides fast, quiet, and precise focusing, with a 0.33m minimum object distance and 1:5.7 maximum magnification. The lens also features moisture-resistant construction, a fluorine coating on the front element, an 82mm filter thread, and compatibility with Tamron Lens Utility software.
