About this Lens

The Tamron 28-200mm F2.8-5.6 Di III RXD (Model A071) is an all-in-one zoom lens for Sony E-mount full-frame mirrorless cameras, and is the first all-in-one zoom to offer an F2.8 maximum aperture at 28mm. It covers focal lengths from 28mm wide-angle to 200mm telephoto in a compact body measuring 117mm long and weighing 575g, making it well suited to travel photography. The lens uses LD and XLD elements to reduce chromatic aberrations, offers a minimum object distance of 0.19m at the wide end, and uses an RXD stepping motor for fast, quiet autofocus. It also features moisture-resistant construction, a fluorine-coated front element, and a 67mm filter thread.
