About this Lens
The Tamron 17-28mm F2.8 Di III RXD is an ultra-wide-angle zoom lens for Sony E-mount full-frame mirrorless cameras, with a constant f/2.8 maximum aperture. It uses LD and XLD elements along with BBAR coating to reduce chromatic aberration, flare, and ghosting. The RXD stepping motor provides quiet, fast autofocus with full-time manual override, and a minimum focusing distance of 7.5 inches offers a maximum magnification of 1:5.2. Weighing 420g and measuring 99mm in length with a 67mm filter thread, it features moisture-resistant construction and a fluorine-coated front element.
