The Sirui 40mm T1.8 1.33x Anamorphic [Neutral Flare] for Sony E is an autofocus anamorphic prime lens designed for Super 35 sensors, with a 1.33x squeeze factor that produces a 2.35:1 aspect ratio from 16:9 footage. It features an STM motor for autofocus with eye-tracking support, a manual focus option via an AF/MF switch, and a fast T1.8 aperture for low-light shooting and shallow depth of field. The lens produces neutral streak flares and elliptical bokeh, with hexagonal bokeh when shot wide open. Cine-style features include 0.8 MOD gearing, a 360° focus rotation, an 80mm front diameter, stepped and stepless aperture control, and an all-metal body weighing 614g.
