The Laowa 9mm f/2.8 Zero-D is a manual focus ultra-wide-angle prime lens for Fujifilm X-mount APS-C cameras, offering a 113° angle of view with a 35mm-equivalent focal length of 13.5mm. Its "Zero-D" design aims for near-zero distortion (around 0.2%), achieved through an optical construction of 15 elements in 10 groups, including two aspherical and three extra-low dispersion elements. The all-metal lens weighs 215g and measures about 60mm long, making it one of the smallest ultra-wide lenses available for mirrorless systems. It features a 49mm filter thread, an f/2.8–f/22 aperture range, and a minimum focus distance of 12cm, with no electronic contacts, so metering and aperture data must be handled manually.
